WHAT IS MEANT BY CONTEXT?
- Context is the character and setting of the area within which a projected scheme will sit.

WHY CONTEXT IS IMPORTANT?
- It is about understanding the position of development, and how to position a development.

These are the priorities to be considered as a designer:

1. Strengthening local communities;
2. Creating places of distinction;
3. Harnessing intrinsic site assests and resources;
4. Integrating with surroundings;
5. Ensuring feasibility;
6. Providing vision.
