Architecture Programme, Politeknik Ungku Omar is pleased to announce that the first Architectural Design National Seminar (ARDeNAS) will be held on the 6th to 7th of June, 2011 in Politeknik Ungku Omar, Ipoh, Perak.
Academicians, educators of design based education - Architecture, Design and Visual Communication are invited to submit papers in architecture, design, design based education and related areas. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Design Education-based Issues
- Learning and Teaching issues of any design-based courses at the Malaysian Polytechnics and Community Colleges.
2. Architectural Education
- Thoughts on any aspect of Architectural Education within the Malaysian Polytechnics and Community Colleges.
3. Designers in Action
- A reflective review of any Architect/Designer and his/her work
4. Design and Progress
- Reflection on any design and how it propels progress
5. A Design Educator’s Journey
- Reflection of a design-educator’s role in today’s educational environment.
6. Book/Article Review
- A critical review of any book/article read.
The seminar accepts any of these forms of academic writing:
- An Essay, A Research Findings, or A Reflective Review/s
..still fresh from the yesterday’s Perhimpunan Bulanan, points and words from Pengarah eventually glued in mind.
